Returning to the city of York after many years, Edward takes on the role of constable at the renowned Arden Detective Agency. It's just his luck that his first new case is a confusing murder with no clear culprit, but to his surprise- there seems to be a link to his past...

Play as Edward, the newly transferred detective at Arden Detective Agency! Interact with suspects, build rapport, gather clues and more importantly: find the true culprit.

Be careful- between the twisted web of lies and hidden secrets, not everything is as it seems... someone is hiding a dark secret.

Gameplay:

Verdict is a choice-based mystery Visual Novel where your choices affect the outcome. There are point-and-click elements as well as an interactive environment and map navigation feature for you to enjoy.

Bugs:

One known bug is after unlocking both the map and journal feature, upon closing the journal the icons for both menus may be hidden- they will re-appear after pressing the ESCAPE key.

Notes:

Currently, the game is in early access- this build contains the prologue chapter and has not reached the main interrogation line- the game will be updated and refreshed after the first round of testing has been complete.
